(Not sarcastic, that was genuine.) Maybe the two of you can bond playing with it.<br /><br />My oldest just turned 6 in August, and it&#39;s been hard. I&#39;m glad to hear I&#39;m not the only one dealing with the &quot;I know you can do this if you just try&quot; phenomenon. Actually, in his case, the biggest battle is the bike. I cringe when I see that your daughter is now managing without training wheels; he&#39;s so afraid of falling that he won&#39;t ride it with the training wheels! Sigh. And sigh again. And try to let go and conclude that there are worse things in the world than learning to ride a bike late or not at all. And then I get frustrated all over again.<br /><br />Sorry you were having one of those days. As I said, my oldest is the same age as your youngest, so I don&#39;t know if it&#39;s the last-child thing, but I also have two boys and then a girl, and there is something about that daughter that feels different.
